Cemetery

Needingworth Cemetery is owned and managed by Holywell-cum- Needingworth Parish Council as the public cemetery for the residents of Holywell and Needingworth. The Cemetery is closed for burials to anyone who does not live in the Parish.

The Cemetery is situated on Mill Way, between Needingworth and Holywell. There is disabled access, though parking is limited. For a large number of cars, we advise they park at Millfields car park (a short walk along the road).

The Cemetery will be open to the public during the hours of daylight.

The Cemetery has designated areas for burial graves with memorials (with a specific area for Catholic burials) and cremation tablets .

The exclusive right of burial in a grave space or a cremation plot may be purchased at the time of interment. A spouse or partner may purchase the adjacent grave plot at the time of burial or interment of their partner. No burial shall take place and no memorial placed in the Cemetery without the permission of the Parish Council. It is not permitted to scatter ashes within the Cemetery.
